Gottfried Helnwein - Family child
The images or installations of Gottfried Helnwein (visit his site here) could represent pages and pages of any blog about images since he is one of the most subversive and essential living visualist, a kind of Goya of our times. Among the numerous images he did on childhood, always characterized by the will to show to adults how they destroy it although they say to protect it, I'll chose some of my favorites such as these rare pictures in which Helnwein clearly summarize in 4 shots what he thinks of the deep nature of parenthood attitude. It's like Thomas Bernhard meeting Alice Miller. Titles are mine.
