Juergen Teller - Various portraits of famous women

)

I'm quite obsessed with Juergen Teller these days. Don't know why. Here some portraits of some famous women. You have probably recognized Björk, Isabelle Huppert, Charlotte Rampling (one not posted on the previous series shot with the photograph), Kate Moss & Meg White (yes, the White Stripes' drumgirl). With Teller, all these women seem to offer something we never saw before. A scoptophilian heaven for sure.

Corvetta Curves - Not just pretty body curves

Some nice portraits of the Burlesque icon Corvetta Curves from whom I showed some pics here. There's something very touching in her face. A natural kindness that is consolating to look at when humanity makes you doubt there's any anymore anywhere. More to come but focused on her body curves later. Keep in alert you men of taste.

Various - Rom children

Here are the new enemies of the French government. Yes, after arabs, blacks, now are the roms. Not so confortable to be French these days. Feel ashamed to have at the head of the country such a bunch of populist bastards, friends of fortunates and enemies of all those who have nothing or not much. Hope they'll be washed out soon, even if we put a horse as president (as said John Lee Hooker speaking of Republicans, and ready to vote for a horse if it was the Democrat candidate) to replace them. And French, what a bunch of tartuf(f)es: they listen and buy gipsy music (or fake one such as the pathetic songs of Thomas Dutronc) but let their government treat them out as rabid foxes. Some of the pictures above were taken from this blog here. And for French who want to know more about the vast terminology of non sedentary people, you can find all there. I wanna think that the first pic is the answer to this band of villains that have taken our country by strategy 3 years ago.

Juergen Teller - The Louvre with Charlotte Rampling & Raquel Zimmermann naked

Another famous recent shot by Juergen Teller who took with him the great Charlotte Rampling and the fashion model Raquel Zimmermann (nothing to do with Robert) in the Louvre, and picture side by side their naked bodies and some paintings or sculptures. The effect is rather thrilling. Nothing erotic or exciting here, just the naked truth of human body, female here cos' actually most of the artist of the past were devoted to it (must I say her?). They seem so fragile it's really a touching series You can find a conversation with Juergen Teller about this project here. I decided to focus on the large picture cos' I was feeling that there was a kind of euphemism in the distance between the camera and the bodies. But being closer makes the pictures losing some of their semantic so I posted both. You make your choice. Charlotte Rampling must be thanked to help doing that, women to be proud of their body throughout the ages.
