Julia Margaret Cameron - Portraits

Julia Margaret Cameron (1815-1879) was one the first photograph to have a real artistic approach of photography. And she was a woman. This for men who seem to suggest that women are less inclined toward art than men. And more than everything else, her work resists the assaults of time and some of the pictures above could have been made yesterday. The presence of the models, the intimacy created although situations are quite symbolists, are impressive. More to see on the net from this fantastic woman here.
