Sandra Torralba - Sleeping people
A 3rd post about Sandra Torralba (previous here) because she's really an important artist and she never fails to question us with each of her series. Here a one called Sleeping people. Below what is on her site about this series "Sleeping people, like passengers in one's life, asleep through awakedness, existing unawakened, our lives lost between our fingers as we think death does not apply to us. Reveries of the sleep walker, the insomniac and the dreamer...". A fine statement. Personally, I love the idea of falling asleep suddenly anywhere. There's something of antisocial and revolutionary in that demission of awakening. It reminds me of the series called Public Artistic Exhaustion by Saudades (see here). Both are sisters in soul.
