Gregory Crewdson - Various

Not an obscure photographer this one since he built a notoriety of sort of photographic Spielberg although his main influence is of course Edward Hopper. Rather unusual for Scoptophilia since the body here is lost in space saturated with things semantically dense in symbols of the US way of life among which humans seem to disappear. But after all it's another way to describe human body. His pictures are sureley expensive to make (see the trailer of a film about him below) and this is not what I prefer in this approach of photography but after all the important is the result. And it's really a fascinating one. Above a selection of my fave ones (and only if the definition was good enough)
