André Hachette - Portraits

André Hachette (1873 - 1941) is more famous for being one of the greatest collectors of the XXth century than for his photographic work, although his pictures belong to the Musée d'Orsay. Not without similarities with Julia Margaret Cameron, but more naturalistic and less romantic, his portraits of women have this little thing that makes them a real pleasure to watch. In particular the first one (a portrait of a girl called Sarah Liévine) is really wonderful. One of my favorite portraits any period. I didn't find anything about this man. If you have, thanx to write in comments, I'll add it in the post.
