Günter Blum

Born in 1956, this famous German erotic photographer died in 1997. He is often compared to Helmut Newton for his love of highly sophisticated women shot naked in somptuous environments. Not usually my personal taste but in some series, his rather fetichist approach of female body provides a strongly exciting iconography. An unusual excursion in this visual lands for me, but it's crucial to open his horizons from time to time. You can read and see more from this now classic master here. I recently used one of his pictures for a cover sleeve (an Adam and the Ants one, here)
