Aneta Bartos - Spider Monkeys

A third post (previous ones here) about this very talented photographer "living and working in New York" (as it is said in her CV). Here she treats female bodies in such a way they suggest spiders and it's rather fascinating. Don't really see where is the monkey but maybe it's to reduce the human condition here to its primate nature. Once again, the influence of Antoine d'Agata is quite visible and the style not unlike the sfumato technique that Jean-Jacques Henner used in his painting. This de-realizes the images and offers a dual and dichotomic vision (a nude female body and a spider) according to the watcher. In summary, quantum physics applied to photography.
